MRO CRISM Experiment Data Record (EDR)

Instrument: Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars

PDS Data Set ID: MRO-M-CRISM-2-EDR-V1.0 (same directory as the CDR Data Set)

For more information about CRISM products, go to the CRISM Product Primer.

For more information about EDRs, see the CRISM Data Product SIS.

An Experiment Data Record (EDR) is the raw, uncalibrated CRISM spectra from a single observation from the telemetry stream rearranged but unmodified except for lossless decompression. The headers are stripped off and placed into a text list file, and the frames are merged into a multiple-band image. Associated with each EDR is a list file of raw instrument housekeeping data plus other frame dependent information.
